PassCall

Now in free beta

Your TV becomes a window to the people you love.

When you both happen to walk by, you see each other. No scheduling, no dialing. Just the small, unplanned moments you used to have in person.

Works with a TV you already own Nothing to open, nothing to dial

The idea

Forget scheduling. Bring back bumping into each other.

You used to run into the people closest to you all the time. In the hallway at school, in an aisle at the grocery store, in the kitchen. Those moments were never planned, and they kept relationships alive.

PassCall® recreates them. Put a screen in a room you walk through, add a few close friends or family members, and whenever you both pass by at the same moment, a short call opens on its own. When one of you walks away, it closes.

The presence-matching that makes this work is patented PassCall technology.

In real homes

Two living rooms. One wall.

This is PassCall running on two ordinary TVs, turned portrait and hung like picture frames. The people on them are real family, in real time.

Two portrait-mode TVs mounted in two homes. One shows a man kneeling with a white dog, the other shows a grandmother holding a baby.
Left screen. A son at home with his dog.
Right screen. His mother with her new grandchild.
Line drawing of a person walking past a tall screen mounted on a living room wall. The screen shows a friend walking past their own screen.

How it works

Three steps. Then it just happens.

  1. Register for the free beta

Create your account at my.passcall.io. About a minute, and free while we are in beta.

  2. Add your close people

Invite one or more friends or family members to your circle. The people you would stop and chat with anyway.

  3. Walk by

When you pass your screen at the same time they pass theirs, the window opens and you see each other. Say hi, or just wave.
