PassCall

About

Why we built PassCall®.

Because the best conversations with the people we love were never the ones we scheduled.

Running into someone was never planned. It just happened, and those small moments kept relationships alive.

PassCall was created to mimic the chance interactions we used to have with our closest friends and family. A hallway at school. An aisle at the grocery store. The kitchen, on an ordinary morning.

PassCall triggers a short call between close friends when they happen to walk past their screens at the same time, as if they had passed each other somewhere else. A TV on the wall becomes a window into the other person's home, open only when you are both there.

Forget scheduling video calls weeks in advance. Let the small, unplanned moments come back on their own.

PassCall is based in Louisville, Kentucky. The presence-matching technology behind it is patented.

How it works

Three steps. Then it just happens.

  1. Register for the free beta

Create your account at my.passcall.io. About a minute, and free while we are in beta.

  2. Add your close people

Invite one or more friends or family members to your circle. The people you would stop and chat with anyway.

  3. Walk by

When you pass your screen at the same time they pass theirs, the window opens and you see each other. Say hi, or just wave.

Free beta

Hang a window, not a screen.

PassCall is free to use during the beta. Register in a minute, then invite the people you miss bumping into.
